Terms of Service

Last Updated: February 8, 2026

Welcome, and thank you for your interest in CasDoc ("CasDoc Team", "we", "our", or "us").
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the CasDoc platform, including our website, software, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share personal data.

If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

1. Access and Use

1.1 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, CasDoc grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to access and use the Service.

1.2 User Content

You may upload documents, inputs, or other content ("Content") to the Service. You retain ownership of your Content.
By submitting Content, you represent and warrant that you have the necessary rights and permissions to share it.

1.3 Model Training

CasDoc will not use your private Content for AI model training unless you explicitly provide consent.

1.4 Limitations of Service

You acknowledge that:

  • Some outputs may be automatically generated and not guaranteed to be accurate.
  • The Service may contain errors, interruptions, or limitations inherent to machine learning and automation tools.
  • You are solely responsible for how you use the Service and any reliance on outputs.

1.5 Restrictions

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service.
  • Use the Service to infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
  • Use the Service for illegal, fraudulent, or harmful purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass security mechanisms.
  • Share benchmark or performance test results without our consent.
  • Use the Service to process regulated data (e.g., health, biometric, or financial data) without prior agreement.

1.6 Beta Features

We may offer beta or experimental features. Such features are provided "as is" without warranties and may be discontinued at any time.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction (18 in most regions) to use the Service.
By registering, you represent that you meet eligibility requirements and that your account information is accurate.

3. Account Registration

To use most features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your sign in credentials and all activities under your account.

If you suspect unauthorized use, notify us immediately at [email protected].

4. Payment Terms and Pricing

4.1 Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

4.2 Subscription Plans

CasDoc offers subscription-based pricing plans:

  • Pro Plan: $8 USD per member per month (or $80 USD per member per year, representing a 17% discount)
  • Ultra Plan: $40 USD per member per month (or $400 USD per member per year, representing a 17% discount)

All prices are in United States Dollars (USD) and are exclusive of applicable taxes. Taxes will be calculated and added by Paddle at checkout based on your location.

4.3 Billing Structure

  • Subscriptions are billed per workspace.
  • Workspace owners are responsible for payment for all seats (members) in their workspace.
  • Invited users (guests) can join a workspace for free without counting toward seat limits.
  • AI credits are shared across the workspace among all members.
  • Pro Plan: Up to 6 seats per workspace.
  • Ultra Plan: Up to 30 seats per workspace.
  • Billing occurs monthly on your subscription date (e.g., if you subscribe on March 2, you will be billed on April 2, and so on).
  • Adding seats during a billing cycle incurs an immediate prorated charge.
  • Reducing seats takes effect on the next billing cycle.

4.4 Free Trial

New users may be eligible for a 7-day free trial of the Pro plan. To start a free trial, you must provide a valid payment method. During the trial, you may adjust the number of seats freely. If you do not cancel before the end of the trial period, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription and your payment method will be charged based on the number of seats at the time of conversion.

Note: The Ultra plan does not include a free trial.

4.5 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team. Cancellation must be completed at least 24 hours before the next renewal date to avoid being charged for the subsequent period.

4.6 Price Changes

CasDoc reserves the right to modify pricing at any time. Any price changes will be communicated to you via email or through the Service at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

4.7 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Paddle. By making a purchase, you agree to Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy. CasDoc does not store or have access to your full payment card details.

4.8 Delinquent Accounts

CasDoc may suspend or terminate access to accounts with unpaid balances. We will attempt to notify you of payment failures before taking such action.

5. Refund Policy

5.1 First-Time Subscriber Refund

First-time subscribers are eligible for a 14-day unconditional refund from the date of initial purchase. You may request a full refund directly from your account dashboard within this period—no questions asked.

5.2 Existing Subscriber Refund

For existing subscribers (those who have previously subscribed and are renewing or resubscribing), refund requests must be made within 14 days of the charge by contacting our support team. Refunds for existing subscribers will be evaluated based on usage patterns and are not guaranteed.

5.3 Partial Seat Refunds

If you have purchased multiple seats and no longer need all of them, you may request a partial refund for unused seats. For example, if you purchased 5 seats but only need 2, we can refund the cost of the 3 unused seats. We track seat usage to process these requests accurately.

5.4 How to Request a Refund

  • First-time subscribers: Request directly from your account dashboard within 14 days.
  • Existing subscribers: Contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the charge. Please include your order number or the email address associated with your account.
  • You may also reach out to Paddle's customer support at paddle.net.

5.5 Refund Processing

Refunds will be processed by Paddle and returned to your original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider, typically within 5-10 business days.

5.6 Exceptions

Refunds may not be granted in cases of:

  • Violation of these Terms of Service
  • Abuse of the refund policy (e.g., repeated refund requests)
  • Requests made after the 14-day refund window
  • Existing subscribers with high usage during the billing period

5.7 Cancellation vs. Refund

Canceling your subscription stops future charges but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current billing period. If you wish to receive a refund, you must explicitly request one within the 14-day window.
